Ashley Von Brandt
"I'm Evelyn, by the way." Ash looked the girl up and down for a moment. She already knew their names - all of their names, actually, if she thought hard enough. She had met all of them before, but was only just realizing that they didn't remember as she did. Curses of being far from unobservant, she supposed.
"Ash," she introduced herself to the group with a half-hearted wave of her hand, eyes flitting from one to the other. Her other hand rubbed the side of her costume, in search of a pocket that wasn't there. Her eyes flicked to Dawn as she spoke, and Ash narrowed her eyes slightly. Do all of them wear those necklaces 24/7? she wondered, temporarily distracted from the conversation. How have I never noticed that before? Her hand went to her collar, where her pendant lie beneath her armor. She felt like she was forgetting something important, like something about this situation had already happened before. When she started to wonder what else they might all have in common, she got a headache, and felt a bit dizzy.
"Oh, no." She cleared her throat, focusing on Dawn again. "I haven't. Just got here. That's a good idea, though." Just as she looked toward backstage, she thought she caught a glimpse of the boy in question. On a whim, she called out, "Hey, Karimi!" and, well, immediately regret it. Upon further inspection, she wasn't even sure that was the right person. It was hard to tell, what with the angle, the crowd, and all these costumes. She snapped her mouth shut and coughed, as though that could cover up her shouting, and looked to Evelyn.
