Loris chuckled, how she managed to get so shy and blush so much with him amazed him. She could eat a man alive if she wanted to, yet if he spoke from his heart and the truth she melt. He loved this woman more than he has ever loved anyone, except his daughter of course. He hadn't even loved Cora's mom as much as he did Elise, which scared him a whole lot now. Loris couldn't handle something like what happened with Cora. He twirled her one more time before leading her over and around the lake. Fireflies danced around them as they walked. When they were alone he pulled her close and kissed her softly before pulling away and getting on one knee. He raised an open box with a cleaned and shining
ring that Cora had found on their first date at the beach. "I know we have only been dating for four months, but I have known you for years. My heart was always yours, but I was a coward. From the first day at work when you were sitting there at your desk and you smiled up at me, I knew I would end up hopelessly in love with you." He said, his voice shaking a bit, trying not to cry like an idiot. "Elise Monroe, will you marry me?" He asked.
