DAUGHTER OF ZEUS
"Oh my God.... Andy stayed the night didn't she?" she asked. She wasn't surprised, but she was happy they had finally gotten the chance to be closer. "Anyway, It was okay. I just decided to cheer up my best friend before heading home." She left the part out about Theo, but Ajax already knew about that. Still, he decided to leave it. "Big brother.... am I a monster for killing another demigod?"
"No," he told her instantly. "You want to know why?" Alex nodded, ready to listen. "Because you feel guilty. Monsters and murderers don't feel anything after killing, but you do. You acted wrongly, you made a mistake, but that was due to being crippled by so much pain that you lost yourself, Al. I know you better than anyone in this camp. You may have a short temper, but you are as gentle as a butterfly. They don't know you like I know you."
"Thank you, but I was scared that you, Wes, Andy and Duke wouldn't like me anymore... I'm pretty sure that Trinity no longer likes me. If she ever did. I'm even surprised that Theo still accepts me as a friend."
"It's because they knew you weren't yourself. No doubt Mason is brainwashing the others, but what you have to remember, is he's hurting too. Jenn was the only family he had. Hades only cares for himself."
Alex finished off her toast before wrapping her slightly cold hands around the warmth of the coffee filled mug as she sipped at it. Thinking about Mason. She put herself in his shoes. She could relate to how he felt, so she didn't blame him for wanting to kill her, but two wrongs would never make a right. Last year, Mason tried to strangle the air out of Alex's body, but that situation came to a quick end as everyone swooped in to stop him from a mistake he wouldn't regret, but a mistake nonetheless. Maybe she could grab Mason by himself somehow, speak directly to him with no one else around. A dangerous act, but Alex loved the daring nature of their daily lives at camp. It kept them feeling human. She also wanted to speak to Evelyn, get a second opinion from outside the circle, so to speak. Everyone close to her knew her, but Alex wanted judgment from those who knew little about her. Evelyn seemed like an intelligent woman.
For now, Alex decided to head out and do some light workout considering the staff members would be announcing their flag game later on during the day. She wanted to prepare herself mentally, and physically.

SON OF ZEUS
He gave Alex her breakfast first, stirring the sleeping princess from her slumber. Hearing footsteps, Alex gave him a questionable look. She watched his gaze look in the direction of the stairs, then back at her with a pleased and proud look on his face.
"Omg... Andy spent the night didn't she?" she sure had, and he didn't regret one second of it. He could have carried on bragging about the woman he fell in love with, but Alex needed him. She had found the moment to open up to him which he couldn't ignore. He couldn't go on about how amazing his night was. Ajax did his best to make her feel better and hoped with all his might that she would listen.
Emotions always got the best of Alex. For years he tried to teach her to be more hardened on the outside and in, defended by life's inevitable pains, but she remained gentle with a mix of her fiery, wild child nature; that even Ajax found hard to control. She was the wild storm that had managed to find it's calming point.
Just as Ajax was going to quickly return to Andy, she was already downstairs, but heading to the door. Ajax stood up. "Andy..." he called to her as she went to grab the doors handle. "...You were just going to leave without saying anything?" Alex felt an argument brewing, so she quickly left the room and headed to her room. She put on her training gear, and exited the house from her window to avoid her brother's drama with his girlfriend. "What, so you regret last night with me? is that it?"
Before leaving her room, she made sure to grab her gym bag, then climbed out of the window after that. Being outside in the fresh air was better than being cooped up inside. It was a sunny morning, birds singing, and the entire camp peaceful... almost. Alex could hear her brother's angry mumbled voice on the opposite side of the wall, so she broke into a jog, heading towards the center of the camp to do her morning workout there instead.
Once there, she climbed up onto a thick tree branch, and with her legs draped over it, she leaned back, hanging upside down of it before she began to lift herself over, and over to work out her entire body.
