The man was a Doctor, something that made sense to her as she began to silently process what he'd said to her when she'd questioned him. It surprised her that he'd treated her, seemed concerned for her current condition. He had likely not figured out if she was a Jedi or Sith though she assumed that it was something easy to see. However, perhaps not so much for those that had never seen the other. Suddenly, the man was speaking in regards to her statement. This caused Rinexia to turn her gaze to him, watching him closely as he decided to take a few steps closer to her. He proceeded to inform her of what she already knew. Leaving would only speed up her death. She knew that. However, she also knew that if she remained all those within the small settlement would die should she be found there.

Rinexia had been in hiding for far too long to not understand what it meant if she were to go back into the wilds. However, she remained silent. There was really no point in arguing with the doctor. At least not right now. She allowed him to continue speaking. He did have valid points, but so did she. Suddenly, his words pulled her attention. "I will get you your lightsaber if you promise not use it."

It was something that she'd not expected. Doctor Mardura was gone only a moment before he'd returned with the weapon that Rinexia had been worried about. The man placed the weapon on the bed, next to the woman. She still remained silent, watching as the man opened the front door and continued speaking. "Now, if you can walk at a brisk pace to this door and not so much as wobble or wince, then you'll probably be fine and can keep going. Or you can get back into bed, and I'll bring you a tray of breakfast."

The man was gone after that and for a moment, the Jedi thought about doing as instructed. However, it just wasn't in her. As soon as he was farther back in the home, Rinexia was off of the bed once again. She began looking around, trying to figure out where the man had stashed her things. It took her only a few short moments to find the metal box that was nearby. She was quick to pull out her pack and pulled out the clothing that she'd refused to wear for so long. She had no choice now and needed to move quickly.

Rinexia pulled the gown off of her form and dressed in the outfit that she'd pulled out of the pack. She slipped on a pair of deep brown pants and the same black boots that she'd worn the day before. The pain in her side was still there though she attempted to ignore it as she moved suddenly, yanking the IV from her arm. She picked up her weapon, attaching it to her waist before she picked up the pack. The Jedi made her way over to one of the windows, sliding it open.

She hesitated only for a moment before she slipped out, landing on the ground. Pain shot up her side. She was very aware of every movement that she made. She rose slowly before moving as quickly as she was able. It didn't take her long before she had reached the forest edge. She stopped, placing her right hand against one of the trees for support as she tried to catch her breath. She knew that she had to move soon or the man would see her. After another moment, Rinexia pushed herself away from the tree, heading into the forest.

It was unlikely that the Troopers were still in the area. They had likely continued in the direction that they'd been headed in the night before. They would be back... but not for a while still and that was only if they'd shared their previous night with others. She moved, walking as she was unable to move much faster than that for the time being. She walked until she'd reached a rather large tree that was located no more than thirty minutes out from the small settlement. She stopped, looking up at the mass of green and brown that stood before her.

The woman used the Force and her right hand in order to climb the tree. It took longer than it normally would have but when she was at a high enough branch she leaned her back against the tree bough. She closed her eyes in pain, trying to ride out the waves of pain. She felt a bit better having moved a bit away from the settlement. She didn't want to put anyone in any sort of danger. She could only hope that the man would accept that she'd left and wouldn't pursue her.
