"So long as you understand the dangers of what you are asking of me... I will return with you." Cade resisted letting his face show the triumph that he felt over the victory. They were both silent for a moment, and in that time Cade pondered the ramifications of what he had done. He had chased a Jedi through the forest, and practically begged her to come back with. He must be a special kind of idiot. He had no delusions of why he did it, though. He was still carrying a massive amount of guilt from what happened before he came to this planet, and if let this woman walk off to her death, the added guilt would crush him.

"Know that as soon as I'm healed I will be leaving."

Cade nodded in agreement. "That's a good call. This town is very boring and I'm sure you have pressing Jedi business to attend to." She suddenly got a mischievous look, and he narrowed his eyes in suspicion. What was she going to do now?

"However, I can't help but wonder how you will get out of this tree." He watched her jump down, gracefully, despite her injuries. She looked up at. "I can come back up to rescue you... if you'd like."

His cheek twitched despite himself. "That won't be necessary." He started the arduous journey down the tree, all the while fondly remembering a time when he wouldn't have given a flying porg about his patients running off and getting killed. After the third time he lost his footing and almost fell, he was sorely tempted to return to that way of thinking, but he eventually touched solid ground without incident. "Well, let's go Home before my ego completely evaporates."

When they reached the edge of the forest and could see the town, Cade said, "Welcome to Home! That's what the very practical locals call it. They say no one ever needed to call it anything else. The only activities to do here are fishing, gossiping, and Sabacc."

His clinic was on the outskirts of Home, so it was the closest building to them. As they got closer, he said, "You might want to wait while I get rid of my neighbor."

Cade escorted his neighbor out of his house, careful to keep her facing the opposite direction Rinexia was in. He told her that he was getting an assistant to help with his mother coming in tomorrow, and because he needed time to get ready for her, then time to train her, he told her to tell everyone not to come in unless they really needed him. When she was gone, he gestured for Rinexia to come inside.
