Then Cain watched the young dragon attempt a takeoff. And from Ame’s glare she was not happy with him. Or his patron Dragon he’s bargained with. “I think we made the wrong move here Belkorin, old buddy.”

”Oh relax laddie. All fledglings on their first attempt don’t fly too high and land quickly.” The named Dragon said with a knowing glint in its voice.

“I meant for when it does land and she turns back to us in her anger!” Cain argued. “If she decides to she’ll try to do something to break our contract we made when I was 15!”

“Aye? Tell her that!” He said as he watched the young dragon flying. He didn’t like the way Amethyst spoke of banishing the one thing that helps him control his powers. He still had much to learn about his Rune laden Claymore. And he didn’t want to lose his mentor, which helped aid him when he needed it.
