"Yes, it's been a bit of a long journey and travel does tend to leave one a little weary for wear," he said to her before smirking, reaching out and taking another of the peppermint chocolates. "These are delicious, by the way. Simply divine," he told her, his golden-brown eyes locked on her as he popped the second one into his mouth with a slight smirk.
