"I'm not sure I believe you," he teased in a gentle tone, though she definitely seemed too stable to be an alcoholic. He'd previously enjoyed everything that she'd just listed, though never to excess - he'd had drunken nights as a teenager, but had quickly outgrown that and his drinking had become more casual. He took another sip of his wine, turning his gaze back towards the flames as they flickered and leapt in the fireplace, dancing over the burning log.
