Meeko realized he was sending mixed signals about being in the water.
"Well I wasn't going to be in there originally, but you aren't giving me much choice since you're complaining so much. I gotta make sure you get clean." He said before the tree climbing was announced and the rules were gone over.
All of the students went to their trees and got ready. The tree creatures were huge. The teacher lifted a starter pistol and fired it into the air. Meeko was sure he had this contest in the bag until he saw Hayden morph his hands into metal claws that looked dangerous. Meeko knew he was going to have to step his game up. As everyone took to their trees, Meeko used both his hand and feet claws to start running up the tree. It didn't take long before the branches were swinging at the people climbing them. and both he and Hayden got knocked off of their trees.
"I got it!" Meeko said when he was hit with a great idea to win. He started to produce a fast-acting herbicide from his claws and as he climbed he injected his poison and killed the creature as he did so it didn't fight him. He was now able to climb with no distractions and would make it to the top in no time.
