The twins sat there in the police station exchanging the odd worried glance at one another. They sat in the police station and uncomfortable yet familiar weight stewing in the pit of their stomachs, the weight far heavier on Leon than his sister. This has happened before, they both realized. Nothing good has ever come of either of the twins being called to to places like this. The news was never good. But for Leon at least it wasn't the same as before, as he looked around the station he saw his friends and even the face of his father most of them looking rather worried themselves.

Though Leon tried to appear calm, his nerves were fraying inward but the only sign of this was the rhythmic, impatient tapping of his foot, all while Leanna sat there beside him, worry visibly wracking her face. As the others were called in and slowly came back out, their faces a mixture of horror and pure grief, Leon's composure came close to cracking, forcing his sister to pace a steadying hand on his knee. It felt like an eternity before one of their names were called.

"Leanna Louis" Called the female detective. Leanna moved to approach with her brother right on the girls heels. The detective raised a hand, a dismissive gesture they both were sure. "Sorry but we would like to speak wi-"The words died on the woman's lips as Leon spoke up loud enough to disrupt her train of thought not even bothering to let her finish.

"Come on. She's my sister, just look at her. She's nervous and scared and honestly I don't think you can blame her." Instantly Leanna knew what her brother was doing and played up the act. Admittedly she was nervous and worried even if she'd never say that right now but she didn't have to look nervous unless she wanted to, and now she very much wanted to. Her knees went limp and she began to shake lightly, letting out a low sounding please was what finally completed the image. Leon leaned closer to the woman before speaking once more."We just saw three of our best friends walk out of of here like they saw a ghost and you need to question me anyway right? Please just let me sit in with you guys or something?" With a sigh the woman sighed a relenting sigh as she escorted the pair into the room. The two exchanged a small smile for the small single victory of the night.

When they were brought before the other detective, they quickly took a seat and glanced once more at one another. Leanna asked the only question she could before either detective could utter a word. The only question that made any sense, a perceptive sort of concern leaked off her lips as she spoke. "What happened? Is everything okay? Manny? What happened to Manny, he's the only one not here. Is he still missing or...?" She trailed off not really wanting the answer. But Leanna was the smart one, the others looked devastated, and Manny had been missing for some time. Putting two and two together resulted in a grim thought, one she didn't want to entertain but saw plainly on the male detective's face. "I'm sorry you two but Manolo's body was found earlier today, murdered it seems."

With those words two hearts sank at once, but one sank deeper and further. Leon was shaking now his fists curled tightly into a ball "That's impossible! Who would ever want to hurt Manny? Everyone loved him and it's not like he's ever hurt anyone! Why someone ever wanna do that?" Leon's voice was desperate, a departure from any mask's he had bothered to wear moments before, his eyes were vulnerable and it took Leanna's presence once more, as well as her own genuinely distraught face to snap the boy out of it. She stared at her brother the answer clearly sitting at the forefront of her mind.Someone hurt Manny for the same reason they would want to hurt her brother and most of her friends. She didn't have to fake worry with a thought like that resting in her skull.

The interview passed by almost in a blur, somehow the twins had managed to answer the questions honestly but neither were truly there in the moment. As they walked out of the room Leon couldn't bear to look at his friedns, he looked like tears were going to crawl down his face at any moment, stopped only by Leanna gripping his arm, and letting out faint sobs of her own. The tears weren't real, she was never very good at shedding real tears, but she could always cry on command. The sobs sent Leon reeling back as he caught himself. Not here. He couldn't cry here, instead he clenched his fists in anger the only emotion he knew he was really allowed to bear openly. Without a word the twins looked at their father than retreated out the station into he car.
