What is happiness? Can you touch it? Can you see it? Can you reach out and grab it? Luna didn't know, but she knew that something inside of her was happy. More than just herself being glad for the love's reciprocation, she felt something deep within her rest in contentment, something that went deeper than purely subconscious. Was it because of love? Even though the love was destined to have a sad ending because one day, one day for sure, Ronan would leave her behind and go with the others and she would remain to fulfill her duty with Ren and Yui at her side. Ally seemed disappointed but there was no way they could bring the entire weapon with them so Ally had to settle for the hard drive.
"But there's not enough stuff! And it takes hours just to get anything for me to tinker with!" Ally wept in the car on the drive back. Luna was staring out of the window, looking up at the sky and wondering if Mizu could see it too, or if she was crushed to death under one of those horrible monsters made by the EU. "It'll be okay." Leo soothed his girlfriend, patting her hair and running his fingers through the strands. "We'll buy plenty of machines for you to take apart when we get back." Allyana glowed at the doctor and for some reason the noble and highborn Ally seemed almost cute as she was pacified by Leo's gentle care. Leo was a very subdued kind of person - he didn't wear his heart on his sleeve like most of the family. But when he did let down the wall, there was a very tender soul inside.
It was now time for the next step of their day. The glacier and the lake wasn't all the adults had planned, there was still more left for them to enjoy. Although, this one was sure to be quite a bit less physically straining. Not that Luna did much strain, she mostly spent the time singing or sitting on a cloud. "Poor Yui." Luna went on bully mode to try to go back to her normal. "Look at all the water we had today and you can't swim in any of it! All the fish that wanted to make friends with you, if only you jumped in!" Well technically she, Ren, and Yui could all swim together as a trio, sharing the same ena that came from their Coddess in the first place.
Maybe that would be another adventure they could share together, someday. But for now, it was time for them to get ready for whale watching. "Maybe we should push her in." Ren snorted, following Luna's cue. "Then she can make friends with all the fish!" Luna's wing twitched under her jacket as she giggled. "but then they might laugh at why the big fish needs nappies!" Someone then lifted them both up by the backs of their jackets, one in each hand. Ronan. "Okay, that's enough." He sported an evil grin then and positioned his arms to throw them off the side of the boat. "No, we're sorry! It's so cold, we didn't mean it!" Ren begged. Luna didn't throw away her pride, though, she could save herself with a cloud.
