"Ronan, come here," Leo beckoned the knight off to the side, confirming his suspicions. "What can we do?" Ronan asked quietly, looking like a concerned older brother. Leo scratched his chin, "She doesn't want medicine, so the most we can hope for is that we dig down to the source of it and ease whatever's triggering the anxiety. There's a link somewhere, probably." Ronan nodded, he and his mini spies would figure it out. "Also Ronan," Leo touched his shoulder, the older brother turning around to face him once more. "Give these to Ren next time you see him in private," he handed Ronan a small pill bottle. "What are these?" He frowned, shaking the bottle. "Hormones, the poor boy has more estrogen in him than testosterone." It took everything in the knight to keep from laughing, at least this would give the girls something to tease him about. "Why can't you give them to him?" Leo rolled his eyes, stuffing his hands into his pockets in a way that made him seem more like a teenager than a doctor. "Because he adamantly avoids every attempt I make at cornering him."
When lunch was called, the group sat around the table as eagerly as ever, prepared for the feast Damian had worked so hard to prepare them. They had only gotten a few bites in when the ship abruptly stopped, spotting a whale. "Wow," Yui gasped, her eyes twinkling. Jacket and food forgotten, she jumped out of her seat and ran to the balcony to watch them. There were binoculars hanging on the railing, which she picked up to gaze out of. "According to my sources," Ally said, consulting her phone. "What they're doing is called breaching and a mama does it to teach her young. What we're getting is a really special, rare look into the lives of whales." Yui was enthralled by the Mother Orca dancing across the waves. "What kind of whales are those?"
"There are two species of whale native to the area. The humpback and the killer whale, or the orca. That one's an orca, the humpbacks you can spot by their signature-they're, there's one over there!" Yui turned, using the binoculars to focus on the signature hump that crested out of the water, the tail waving at them as though to say hello. "There are also seals in this area and on the small islands around us, there are bears and other types of wildlife." Ally had pulled up a virtual guide, figuring that she may as well use it since she had paid for it. Like an overbearing Mother, Damian became a shutterbug, snapping photos left and right, making them take a group photo with the whales in the background. Ronan grabbed Yui suddenly, hoisting her up onto his shoulders to get a better view. He leaned over the railing, the whale so close that the spray from their blow holes reached them.
"Hello friend!" Yui waved, glittering like a precious gem when the light hit her. The whales came up to meet their boat, curiously going underneath and popping up on the other side. "They're like puppies!" Yui giggled, looking at their eager faces.
