Internally, Willow winced at the thought of having to go up all those stairs on her ankle. Even if it was only twisted, it still didn't exactly sound pleasant, and she hated being in more pain than she had to be. But she followed the woman inside, stopping only to remove her heels. She looked at the woman. "I'm guessing I'm not at risk of broken glass or anything, right?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"You're not going to leave me behind or anything, right?" She retorted as the woman told her what door it was, with a half-smirk. Her ankle felt a little better out of the heels, so she figured she'd probably survive the stairs without having to resort to hopping or anything like that. It was just a matter of taking it slow.
With her shoes still in her hands, she followed the woman up the stairs, trying to minimise the amount of weight she was putting on her ankle. It didn't stop her from occasionally having to stop and swear under her breath, but Willow was a great believer in the science of swearing. It had been proven that it was going to help with pain. In all honesty, it was for the other woman's sake that she wasn't swearing outright with every single step. She didn't think her neighbours would appreciate her bringing home a woman who was swearing so much she would shock even some sailors.
"You haven't thought of threatening your maintenance man to get the elevator sorted?" She said as they finally reached the stop of the stairs and she took a moment to catch her breath. "Threats can be surprisingly effective if you do them right."
