|| Never Enough|| The Greatest Showman ||
A second bag was recovered from underneath a secret storage compartment within the vehicle. Yui was within, her lips blue, her limbs twisted at odd angles from the accident. "She isn't breathing," almost as soon as the words were uttered, the child sucked in a large breath, opening up her eyes. Regenerating for the second time in one day wasn't fun, it took a lot of energy. If one wanted to kill a star, it would take a lot more than a car accident. Sure it hurt, but even angels were sturdier than normal humans and could withstand more than a normal body. Yui's eyes filled with tears, she tried to speak, but she had lost her voice while screaming while the car flipped over.
The helicopter landed close by, Raven rushing out to help. "You guys," the child managed to get out, her throat raw. "We'll always find you," Ren said, giving her a thumb's up. "I think we have to go back to the hospital though," he admitted, scratching his cheek. "You don't look so good," Yui could have laughed. "Luna... you've gotten... so strong." She hadn't wanted their reunion to go like this, she had wanted to be there when they awoke. This strange incident had confirmed one thing though, Yui truly could not die under normal circumstances. "I'm glad you're okay," Ren teared up, "I was so scared when Leo told us you died, but Luna was smart, she figured out it was a trick really quickly." Well, it wasn't exactly a trick, Yui really had died, it had just taken her a little while to regenerate.
An ambulance arrived, Yui placed atop a stretcher carefully. "Luna and I will go with you, make sure you're safe," Ren assured Yui, holding his Queen's hand. "I'll follow with the helicopter," Raven said, she would be the eye in the sky to make sure no one else would go after them. It seemed that if the fallen stars wanted to get to them, they would have to go through the angels first. Yui was lucky she hadn't suffered any obvious damage from the seizures. Leo was of course going to run tests to make sure that there was truly nothing wrong, but once everything came back clear, he would release her from the hospital and back into the outside world. Ren and Luna too, weren't supposed to leave and should have been there under observation. He was both angry and relieved; upset that they had left the hospital, but relieved that they had brought Yui back in [mostly] one piece.
"You three, I swear, you get into more trouble than a barrel full of monkeys," he hit them all on the head, then got to taking care of their wounds. Ren was nearly unscathed, if not for the awful nausea that now plagued him. Still, Leo wanted him here to run tests and make sure that the sleeping would have no lasting effect. After being triaged and placed in a room with Luna, who would have to be her roommate during their stay, Yui was taken to get a full mental workup in order to make certain that she was alright. Leo didn't quite believe what he was seeing. It should have been worse, people who suffered grand mal seizures usually did not recover. "The most prominent symptoms are a slight muscle quiver along with minimal weakness and loss of bladder control," Leo explained to Raven, the only adult available right now. "In most patients, there's permanent confusion, or even total loss of limb use." The loss of bladder control wasn't all that much of a problem all things considering.
The other two could be easily worked out, once her limbs had healed a bit more. "I want to do a body MRI on Luna and Ren too, make sure that they're alright." He would need Raven's consent of course and the children's cooperation.
