xxx"now it's four in the morning

xxxi'm the life of the party."
And then Link started shouting, and Lee recoiled. "I promise," he forced out, wrapping his arms around his chest. "I'm sorry," he choked out through tears, tears he hadn't even noticed. He stubbornly wiped them away with the heel of his hand. "I'll go." He said, retrieving his now cracked phone from the pavement, before turning and walking away, still wiping away tears. His phone was still working, but that damn text was still up. He opened up a text to Rebecca without even thinking, but then realised he couldn't face her right now. He couldn't face anyone right now. So he just shoved his phone back in his pocket and kept walking.
Did Link know? Was he ashamed that it was Lee? Had he seen the video and was so horrified to be kissing someone like him? Did everyone know? They had to. They had to. The anonymous texter- could it be Neil? Had Neil released it? Lee suddenly felt nauseous and faint all at once, and sank down onto a nearby bench, holding back sobs and a panic attack. He'd never asked for this. He hadn't asked for any of this. He didn't deserve it, did he?
