|| Never Enough|| The Greatest Showman ||
Scruffles sure liked Luna! Yui was glad that already, Lulu was making friends. "He really likes you!" She chimed, a girl with bright red hair and a freckled face coming over to help pull Scruffles off of Luna. She introduced herself as Patty, her light bearing mark an apple right underneath her eyes, which sparkled a crystal green, a beautiful color. "Wow," Yui smiled, "I've never met anyone with red hair before!" She admired the mane of fiery locks, a color that would most certainly stand out in Japan. "Thank you for your support!" Yui bowed, "I'm so glad to have people like you rooting for me!" Perhaps a bit of a generic response, but what else was Yui supposed to say? Luna, on the other hand, was callous, telling Patty to speak English. "She says her name is Patty," Yui translated into Japanese, just in case Luna needed to brush up on her English.
"They aren't taking our stuff Luna, they're just bringing it to our room." Yui explained as she followed Luna and the woman to their new room. Yui's eyes widened, claiming the bed by the closet. "The bathroom is right outside, you'll be sharing with other girls. There are both public baths and private showers, but if you'd like, I can arrange for you to have special shower times?" Yui shook her head, "That won't be necessary. We want to be as much like the other students as possible," to blend in, if that was even an option. Yui hoped that the whispers were only good things, although they had been laughing at Luna's predicament, possibly because the children had never met a dog before. Sure, they had Ping, but Ping was a cat!
"I think we should try our hardest," even if Luna wanted Yui to dumb down for her and Ren too. If they didn't try their best and give it a good shot, it wouldn't be fair to the other students who would be giving it their best effort. "I'm a little bit selfish," Yui admitted in a whisper, "I know you and Ren don't want to be here, but I can't help but be interested. I always just wanted a normal life, a normal school experience and now, I might finally get one." Because if everyone had light bearing gifts, then they would all be considered normal.
