Priscilla gazed up at him as he explained that six months wasn't enough time to get to know and trust someone. She frowned a bit when he questioned what would have happened if he hadn't proposed to her. "I probably would have started to wonder, and then I would have just asked you about it. You know, like 'Hey James, you know I love you, right? And you know how much I want to be with you? Because we've been together for...wow, half a year already and I'm just wanting to make sure we're on the same page about where this is going.' And then we'd have a talk about where this is going and I'd try to hint at marriage without being too obvious, because you're not supposed to ask or tell the man you want him to propose to you," she said with a giggle. "If six months isn't enough time for you, though, that's fine. I love you. I want to be with you...so I can wait as long as it takes you. Just...don't make me wait too long," she said, furrowing her brow a bit and then giggling. "I'm not getting any younger. I was certain I'd be at least engaged by now, but then the guy I was courting died, so I had to start all over again. Luckily this time I found someone I like much, much more," she said softly.
