"You serious?" the words came out immediately after Spencer speaking. Were people against gays here? He wasn't unused to it, Los Angeles had it's assholes, but he had only seen videos of people getting beat for being gay. Bigots spraying slurs all over houses of LGBTQ+ individuals, and Patton was disgusted by it. He had been a small supporter in L.A with the LGBT crowd, helping with Pride Events. But he felt so limited now. The words that Spencer spoke crashed around Patton and he felt like it was going to wash over him. But he wasn't as dumb as people would think, he wasn't gonna stand down. A change had to happen. People deserved to be happy.
