Yui was sad that the adults had to leave, she rather enjoyed having Ally around again, even if it was only for a day. Yui gave her closing remarks, thanking everyone for coming to see their wonderful school. Yui was sad that Ally and Mizu had to leave, she wished they could stay there with them. "And now, for our final presentation!" Yui smiled, bounding off of the stage only to come back on with the rest of her class. The fifth grade was the youngest class they had, it was rather uncommon for children under the age of 12 to develop light bearing gifts, hence why the fifth grade was so small. Ms. Emily had been teaching them a very special song she had written for their class to present and the children had been working their hardest to learn it, each one given a special solo.
They were given one hour afterwards to say their final goodbyes. Yui hugged Ally as tightly as she could, the helicopter waiting to take her to England. Ally had a meeting there, she wasn't just here to see Yui, although she wished that could have been the sole reason. There was official Vortech business happening, a deal that would bring advanced technology to England that could potentially protect and help Haven. "I'm gonna miss you so much," Yui said as she nuzzled Ally's shoulder. Ren was waiting for her, he and Natsuo had parted easily, it had been more tearful between Noise and him than he and Ren. Xavier had said goodbye to his family, who had acted as Damian's surrogate family for the day as well. The two boys were sharing a dorm and if the rings on their fingers were of any indication, they were planning on really getting hitched soon.
"I'll see you in two weeks," Ally nodded and wiped the tears from Yui's eyes. "You silly girl, it's not forever." It would feel like it though, because everyday Yui was apart from her family felt like forever. "Two weeks," Ally pat Yui's head. "Two weeks," with one last hug, Ally wheeled across the gate from Haven and to the landing strip, the helicopter and Mizuki waiting for her. "I want to research everything I can about K," Ally said as she and Mizuki got into the elevator. "K is a mystery and I don't like that xe is interfering in the school." The UN was involved, yes, but why K specifically? How had xe survived?
