Before Constantine realized what was going around him, he had travelled all the way down to the marketplace, just lost in his thoughts. I hope that Lily is behaving herself out there, wait what am I worried for these are here people and nothing bad is gonna happen. Banishing that thought from his mind Constantine decided to go check out the marketplace. All the sweet smelling fruits and the fresh smelling flowers reminded Constantine of his home and his parents.
If only my parents could see this, they would be so amazed at what all these people can do when they work together. He reached up and wiped a single tear from his cheek, with that happy memory still floating around his head, Constantine headed for his favorite area of the marketplace.
As he walked towards the northern part of the market, something very familiar caught Constantine's glancing view. Constantine stopped dead in his tracks, turned his head towards the harbor and exactly what he thought he saw, was right in front of him. Staring dead ahead, Constantine watched Falkor's every move. Not wanting to make a scene Constantine headed on his way after a few minutes of what he liked to call Bird Watching.
Only stopping at a few other vendors to take a quick glance at their wares. The last vendor he stopped at had some remarkably amazing things. There were chains adorned with rare gems and there were rings of all different shapes and sizes. Some with gems, some with seeds fixed into glass. But there was this one particular necklace that stood out. The chain was made from silk and titanium and adorn with three blue sapphires and two Eden fire opals.
This would make the perfect gift for Lily, how much fine sir? Constantine asked curiously.
The vendor replied For the great Pirate King, twelve bronze coins. A price that Constantine paid happily and gave a little extra for the amazing craftmanship.
After getting all the supplies set up and the fires started, all that was needed now is what to put the food on. Oh geez, what am I suppose to put the food in, think bird man, think. With that he started to pace back and forth. Ill go in search of items in the market place, thinking to himself.
All I need is someone to sit here till I get back. Taking the chance that no one will steal his stuff Falkor headed into the busy marketplace, hoping that he'd "accidentally" run into Seraphine again.
After a few minutes of serious looking, Falkor stumbled upon Mickey. All Falkor could think when he saw Mickey was He looks like a drunk hobo. So, he squatted down next to Mickey and with his nicest, most pleasant voice Falkor says Hey, Mickey will you come chill at my food spot so I can go get more supplies?
Not waiting for a reply Falkor started to head back to hit little spot, stopping along the way to peek and pick out the best looking fruits, vegetables and meats. Just before he made it back to his cozy, tight spot Falkor came across a merchant selling cloth. Gods, this is perfect to put the meals on.
As soon as Falkor sat down to start prepping all the supplies for cooking, Falkor realized that he had forgotten the one thing he needed most. Way to go bird brain, you forgot the stupid spices, how do you expect to make anything taste good without the goodness? Hmmmm you big clumsy pigeon.
