Antheia Ophiuchus
Antheia observed the surrounding area as the trio walked. The slight breeze from earlier had now developed into a brisk wind, brushing through the leaves of various bushes and trees in the forest.
Lifting her gaze upwards, she noticed how grey clouds dappled the vast sky with their melancholic yet soothing touch.
Alec's words resounded in her head again.
Being the creator of this world and slowly but surely transforming into its Life Tree, it all made sense now that he functioned as its beating heart, as well.
Because Antheia sensed that he was in great pain, she felt strangely drawn towards him. Being an Animanty, it was deeply programmed into her that her number one goal is to protect nature. Even if she was not in her realm anymore, the urge to fulfill that goal was still there.
Snapping out of her thoughts, she focused her attention back on the current events again and watched as the stranger pulled out a container of water. "Just let me know if you need water," his voice chimed. Antheia appreciated the gesture but did not sense the tugging feeling of thirst yet.
The group passed a small patch of lavender, the plants' tiny petals swiveling from one side to the other as the wind brushed them. Instead of the usual vibrant purple, these flowers had lost their colour and a pale, greyish-green tinted them. Antheia came to a halt and as if her next move was completely automatic, she motioned towards the lavender and leant down. Pressing her right hand on the ground beneath them, they immediately started to regain their colour again. A piercing but soothing scent now emitting from them. The ghost of a smile spread across Antheia's lips as she observed the now healthy flowers, before she got up to continue following her two companions.
After the stranger introduced himself as 'Ambers' and talked to Zio about respecting his bravery to deliver the message, he now directed his next words towards her, which made her stomach drop. She would rather not reveal all of her exact intentions to why she came here, so instead she focused on why she wanted to join the Rebellion.
"I have nowhere else to go. Nature is falling apart in this realm and similarly to you, I want to save this world," she said in a serene tone, but it still held a certain air of detachment. "Therefore I'd do everything that's in my power to aid the Faerie King and his rebellion." she finished, a determined gleam now scintillating in her blue gaze as she locked her eyes on Ambers to show that she meant it seriously.
Her gaze then fell back to the surrounding forest area again, listening to the various sounds that rang from it, as if it spoke. Yeah, even if it took all of her strength and wit, Antheia would make sure that nature's beauty would remain in this world.
