Atreyu sat down across from the girls and started shoveling food in his mouth, completely forgetting to breath in between bites."You know this food is very good, great taste." Atreyu managed to mumble semi understandably, while chewing his food."I think that I might go find some of the other humans and chat them up. Try to get some info on this planet. As much as I want to Mr. Gung-Ho, I think I'll sit here and protect Freya to the best of my abilities. Unless, you need me to cover you from a distance Lyra?" Atreyu finally said clearly since he was done with his plate. Looking across the table, he noticed that they were taking their time and enjoying the food."My apologizes for shoveling my food so fast, I was just so hungry, may i please get some more? I'll put the dried food in my bag once we are all done eating." He told them as he got up to go to the kitchen.
Walking into the kitchen, Atreyu couldn't figure out what eat next, everything looked good. From the fresh fruits to the cooked meats and vegetables. Even though some were definitely "alien" looking, Atreyu was always willing to try everything at least once. So, he grabbed one of everything on the counter and headed back to the table. Placing his massive mountain of on the table, Atreyu went over to his pack and started digging."Mother Isis, where did I put that, I know for a fact that it's in here, I just went through all this." Atreyu muttered confusingly."Ah ha, I found it!" Atreyu exclaimed with pure joy as he produced a squarish glass bottle with brown liquid sloshing around inside.

" Atreyu said passionately while pouring three glasses, with Freya's glass having a lot less then the others. Atreyu lifted his glass dumped the entire content in to his mouth and swallowed hard."Gods, it's been ages since I've had a good glass of Irish whiskey." He managed to get out in between coughs and pouring himself another round. Looking across the table at the girls, who didn't seem to be enjoying the taste like he did."Can I offer you another Lyra? I know it doesn't taste the best, but it'll help you sleep and it's great for cleaning wounds too. At least that's what I read in old medical journals. I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm going to excuse myself to put away the dried goods. He walked into the kitchen, cleaned off his plate, then grabbed the bundle of assorted dried food and headed straight for his pack. Before he started putting the goods in the pack, Atreyu turned at asked Lyra"Do the merchants out here except American cash or any for of "Earth" money? I only ask because I have fifty dollars in my wallet, plus I found an additional hundred dollars, in various currency hidden in my pack." He uttered as he pulled out the wad of different colored and sized paper money. Before Lyra could reply Atreyu walked over to the dinner table and placed all the money he possessed in front of Lyra."Please take this, it's not much." Atreyu exclaimed bashfully.
