For a moment, Yuna felt brave, for a moment, she was able to almost stride into the room, full of confidence, ready to meet this new person. Then, Yuna seemed to remember her shyness and crippling anxiety over meeting new people. She froze in the doorway, unable to move. Rin seemed to mistake this onset of shyness for feeling unwell, to which the little unicorn shook her head, trying to convince the other two that she was alright, just being her shy self. Yuna shook her head to Rin's inquiry, "N-nothing," she squirmed and looked at her feet, hugging her unicorn against her. "S-scary meet-meeting new p-people," Yuna managed to stutter.
Joel wasn't the problem, nor his clothing. It was the fact that Yuna could hardly look up from her plate and only seemed to stiffen when the Princess and Constantine arrived. "H-h-hello," Yuna managed before they seemed to rush off, almost as quickly as they had come. The Starfruit Nectar was passed around, Seraphine telling Yuna that it would be fine. The unicorn took a tiny sip, the brew making her lips full funny and her tongue tingly. She giggled, downing the rest of the shot after deciding that she liked the flavor. Yuna looked around, glancing at Rin who was acting funny. "It's not poison silly! It's juice!" It seemed the shot had helped her relax. She leaned back in her seat, picking up her fork to stab the fish on her plate. As sea faring folk, they ate fish plenty, but Seraphine always cooked it to perfection. "It's so yummy," Yuna sighed, touching her cheek as she ate.
Next, Seraphine brought out dessert, little bowls of fruit. Yuna happily reached for her's, digging a spoon in to drag pieces out, one by one munching an crunching on sticky, sweet fruit, juice occasionally dripping down her chin. Even the fruit salad tasted goo, probably because Seraphine made it. The only one Yuna trusted in the kitchen, the nine tailed fox truly had a gift with the spices. "Rin, do you feel any better?" Yuna asked sweetly, seeming to forget altogether that Joel was there. It was growing late, Yuna was feeling sleep, the shot making her awfully dizzy. She wanted to go and lay down in her bed and snuggle with her unicorn or maybe sleep until her navigation skills were needed.

Mickey listened, glad that Falkor had opened his heart and allowed this glimpse inside of it. He side eyed the Runt, who was stuffing his face with food, "Slow down boy, or you might choke." Mickey advised, listening as Falkor detailed his life with Seraphina. "What made you two break up?" But his feathered friend instead turned the attention to himself. He wanted to hear about the ocean, about the salty depths from which the merman had emerged. What could he say about the water? A lot really, he took a sip of the star fruit juice from the two mugs that the bird man had brought out, the brew warming his insides. He set the heavy mug down with a sigh, barely touching his dinner. Mickey brushed his hair out of his eyes, he really did need a haircut.
"Let me think," Mickey leaned back in his seat, a nostalgic smile coming across his face. "Our Kingdom was large, but it was beautiful, the most spectacular in the sea," sure, Mickey could just be saying this, but he truly believed it to be the truth. "When I was a kid I used to get into trouble with the big fish a lot, I always wanted to start a fight to impress the mermaids." He had rough and tumbled with sharks, tuna, and once, even a whale. Of course, as a child, he had never won, but as he grew older, he began to win the fights and would look for more animals to show who was boss. "My Dad got me to stop by giving me a job. He told me that as Prince, it was important that I befriend sea creatures. So I stopped fighting them and started listening to them." Mickey brushed his hair out of his eyes once again and took another swig.
"There were a lot of beautiful things down there. My house was made out shells and coral, I lived in a castle, there were half dressed women throwing themselves at me day in and out, but here, I'm nobody. I was a Prince!" Was being the keyword. He had no idea if other mermaids had been taken, he had no idea if his home still existed or if it was even on this planet. "Then, well, you lot know what happened next. Illegal trade, that kind of thing, barely escaping with my life, blah, blah, blah," he dug into his plate, no longer wanting to speak of his home for the hole in his chest grew larger with longing to be reunited with his family. No doubt Falkor had that same longing to be reunited with his Seraphine. "We'll get you and your lady fox back together," Mickey grinned slurring slightly. "Azazel, you don't have to hide, this is your ship!" He grinned, hiccuping.
The busy day had worn him out, Mickey wanted to retire to his bunk and snooze, but he had a feeling that the Captain was going to make a very important announcement that he was going to need to listen to. "Want some grub Captain?" Mickey offered, sliding a plate towards his seat at the head. It was only apt that the Captain of the ship had the best seat in the house, wasn't it?
