Hazel-green orbs slid over to Violet, and the grin dimmed just somewhat. "Ah, well... Y'all are the only hunters to come through here in about a week, other than the group I was last travelin' with. I was curious, and maybe I jumped the gun but y'all started askin' about that one chick who uh," His voice dropped to a low murmur, brows furrowing curiously, "got blamed for the attack on beacon."

He turned his head towards the slumped over scythe-wielder before returning his attention back to Violet, raising an eyebrow while doing so. "Look, I'm not here to cause trouble, at all. As a matter of fact... I would like to help y'all out if I can. That woman had been in town for a little bit, and last I saw of her she was a little bit, as one would say, suspicious. Or maybe that's just hunter's instinct." Trailing off, Argent sighed and waited for a response.
