He got away. He got away and Minnie was in danger now, wasn't she? But they couldn't do anything, there was no way to save them. And that was when it happened, behind them, the building with Lita seemed to utterly sink and vanish into nothing. "J-Jace!" Fina stood up, stumps still sparking. "Lita! You have to save her!" Fina hooked her legs to Jace so that she could help the no-handed anrdoid down. A trap had been set, Black Jack might just be one of their worst enemies yet. "He'll be back for Lita. Do you mind a temporary ownership transfer?" They would need to clear this with Lady Reiss too but for now her priority had to be here where she could be ready for another attack from Black Jack.
As the chaos was being handled, a pristine white limousnie appeared. Lady Reiss appeared, sunhat and white dress making her look as elegant as always. Dane stepped out, eyes wide in worry, as did two suited human bodyguards at her side to make sure no shenanigans happened. "Oh no, this is terrible." She shook her head as the employees of Tower Records were huddled up here, before even the authorities could come. "We have more cars, please come with us. The Flock will provide." Fina ran up, displaying her broken used-to-be arms. "Lady Reiss, I'm so sorry! Minnie, because of me, um, the Stealth Unit, Black Jack, I wasn't strong enough. It was all my fault." Misery seeped into her chest as she bowed, waiting to be told to self destruct as punishment for her gross failure as an android to protect her charge.
Lady Reiss looked at her as Dane rushed to help people in the two auto-driving hover cars behind the main limo. Not to the Flock of course, but a secondary site where they would be safe. "Don't worry. But with Dane protecting the Flock, do you mind if I put you under Jace's jurisdiction for the time being?" That would mean that with a few exceptions, Fina's job would be to follow Jace's orders and work under her to protect the secondary site. "So when Black Jack comes again, I can beat him." But what would happen to Minnie? What about her medicine? "Do try to find out who is behind this, my dear." Lady Reiss told her, patting Fina's head. "Then we can directly strike and take my precious daughter back."
