With Jace and Lita busy with their business, Jarvis fighting with the code in his attempts to crack it and reveal Black Jack's location, Fina decided she would go and listen to the city, to truth and lies in the hopes of finding some hint as to where Minnie Reiss could be. "Wait, no, that's stupid." Io chastised her, seeming very tired for some reason. "What do you mean?" Fina queried as she ensured no one was around to overhear an android talking to herself. "Don't just walk around aimlessly. Don't you want to save her?" Wasn't she supposed to be a useless human trash? Who did she think she was, anyways? "At least I have more of a clue than you. What kind of android gets attached to a human anyways?"
Fina didn't know. Was it a part of her programming that she was so clingy to the Requiem Angel? She did not know, but she knew enough that she was not going to ask Doctor Grover about the issue. she was quite aware that the robot doctor was just waiting for a chance to send herself and Lita to Android Jail. Well, perhaps Lita is safe - unless this is just a fake and the real one is already in android jail. "Then we'll have to break her out if that's the case." Io sounded oddly determined despite being a sheep of all sheep. "It's because Cali's there. I won't let her rot away in a jail, whatever android jail is." Anyways Fina didn't care about that, there was a more important matter at hand now. "That's right. Find Palladion. He seems fishy, what's this condition he talked about with Min before?"
It wasn't hard to get a meeting with Charles Palladion. After walking into the Dazzle Delight's Company Building, the secretary girl who Fina realized was an android named Amie, cute and yellow, a Service Unit, one that's versatile enough to fill various clerical roles, was acting as the secretary. "Yes, Mr. Palladion had a feeling you would come, Fina. Please, take the elevator up and wait outside of his office. It is number 741." Fina nodded and entered the elevator that sucked her up towards to the sky, to the man who was for some reason waiting for her.
The Stealth Unit's eyes narrowed as the office door opened for her. "What in the heckles?" Io sounded stunned by what she saw. Charles Palladion in his aloha shirt and his ruffy braided tail welcomed her in, lines on his eyes as if he hadn't had enough sleep. "Welcome, Fina. I assume you're here because you're worried for Minnie?" Fina's eyes locked onto what he was holding in his hand. "So, please tell me why." Fina put her hand on his arm, closing the door behind her as she stepped into the office. "Why do you have a Black Jack mask in your hand?"
