filtThe world is cruel, but it's beautiful too.

Pariya was dizzy, and everything was spinning around her. She had to dig, she had to dig, she had to get to the center of the spiral! She ignored Romo's voice, he didn't understand, she was doing an important mission, a mission for God and to save the world! She had to dig, she had to dig, her fingers raw, her nails breaking, dirt into the red, she had to do it! This was her purpose, this was her goal! With wide eyes the newest acolyte got to work and began to dig, digging, clawing and scratching as she kicked Romo away when he tried to pull her. This was her duty, who did he think he was for interrupting her? Then a stronger someone grabbed her and picked her up. "No! No! I have to dig!" Pariya protested, fists beating on arms, but to no avail.
"What was that?" Romo asked, almost haunted, as they were now seemingly trapped underwater inside the Lighthouse. On the one hand it was nice that they were here now at last, and that Kiki's hypothesis was true. But on the other hand, what happened to Pariya? Romo was bothered by this. "Hmm? Ronnie, what's up?" Veronica was glaring at L for some reason as if something was wrong here. She was even growling, it was odd. "No, there's nothing suspicious about her, she's just a friend. C'mon, Ron, don't worry about it." He sighed, giving L an apologetic smile. "Sorry, she seems to think you're not human." The animal empath turned to Veronica and cupped her dog face. "She's a mutant, so humans don't all smell similar now, okay?" Veronica still wasn't convinced though.
Now they had to deal with two more things. What happened to Pariya, and also, where would the next clue be hidden? Pariya was holding her hands, whimpering as Jake took care of the new wounds she gave herself. "She just started freaking out?" Romo's voice was high, he didn't know what happened either. "Something in my head told me that I had to dig." She explained tearfully in the big empty and far too spacious lighthouse. "I'm sorry for causing trouble." The pinkette turned her head down, her gooey hair drooping sadly. Then Riya smiled suddenly. "But we're here! The lighthouse! This is so cool!" The sadness seemed to bounce away as if it never existed in the first place.
After a rough search, they found a few things. A set of jigsaw pieces but they were all blank and didn't seem to show any image at all despite smelling a bit like lemons. There was also a small hatch that no one was able to open no matter what they tried. Could it lead to the secret clue? "There's always some sort of puzzle before we can find the next clue." Romo explained. "What is truth? What is lie?" Pariya read a small paper in confusion. "La and da seem to be the options?" Her head was spinning, none of this seemed to make sense. "I think we need to solve these before we can get the hatch open." Romo lifted the carpet, there seemed to be some sort of answer input device here.
"Um, first step I guess should be the weird blank jigsaw puzzle?"
