Isla giggled and kissed him back. She watched him walk off and went to take care of the tank. Throughout the day she checked on the fish. Apparently, it had something to do with the water since the fish got better in the lake water and she told her boss so. By the end of the day the fish were back in the tank and Isla was ready to check out. She got off two hours earlier than Rhyan, which was great for her since she could run and get James before getting a shower in for her and a bath for him. By the end of it both were clean, James was playing in his play pin, and she was
dressed with her
hair and
makeup done. Now all she did was start to get the ingredients out while she waited on him.
Birger watched as she went and the regulars were eager. Freja walked up beside Birger and turned her back to Yora and the rest. "Do you really want to go down this road with that Garmold girl? You don't have to date her to have those babies. She is a child having children. You shouldn't have been so damn stupid, Bir." She said and he glared at her a bit. "I love her, Fre." He said and she laughed. "You are a damn fool... I am just glad father isn't here to see this. Mother is already so damn heartbroken as is." She sighed and walked off. Birger gripped the bar. How could he face his mother? It was simple, he wouldn't go back to her. He would show his shameful face. The regulars joined in with her singing, cheering, and laughing.
Vlora raised an eyebrow, "Oh at school, such a bad boy." She smirked and shook her head before laughing a bit when he said it would be inappropriate behavior. "Opps? Guess I am a very inappropriate person." She smirked. They were very opposite people. Where he studied she lived life outside of books. Not that it was bad, it was a breath of fresh air and he centered her down to earth compared to the men who were like her. It was most likely exactly what she needed in a man.
Ingrid blinked and nodded before turning around, "and it is Ingrid... Pauline is my grandmother's name." She said softly before she started walking once more to the inn she was staying at. It was probably for the best that she had been so harsh with the man. Maybe it was just her instincts kicking in and she was saving herself from nothing but a troublesome future. She had enough of elves ruining her life. It was time she stepped up and took charge. With that in mind, she decided she was going to stay on the islands and finally have a place to call home.
