Rhyanid heard the crying as Isla answered the door, and he smiled when she commented that he'd remembered where she lived. "Of course I did. I've only walked you home, what, twice?" he asked with a laugh, stepping inside when she let him in. He smirked a bit at the way James stopped crying when he saw him, chuckling a bit at the squeal the little boy let out instead. "My little homie's excited to see me, huh?" he asked with a grin, reaching out gently to take James since he was making grabby hands at him. "Well, lucky for you, I'm here to hang out for a bit. We can play all you want, as long as I can kiss your mommy every now and then in between the playing."
Yoranda sang her song softly, and as she sang, her hands came down to gently rest on her stomach. She didn't even really realize she was doing it; it was just an automatic thing. She looked over at Birger while she sang, smiling a little wider as she saw him leaning on the counter and watching her. When she finished, she was quiet for a moment, looking down at her stomach before deciding it was time for something a little livelier. She started to sing a
different song, one that she often played and sang when she was performing there. She decided to just keep on singing, to please the patrons until something else came up.
Bastian raised an eyebrow at her words. "I... don't think you
have to do it at any given time. I can see other necessary activities which could be excused in such places if nothing else was available - feeding or birthing children, for example, or even urinating or throwing up, I suppose - but not activities of a sexual nature," he said. "I... doubt I could have handled you when we were younger. Perhaps, then, it's a good thing we met when we did - perhaps the fact that we're older and wiser and calmer is indicative that this is when we were meant to meet," he said softly, and brought her hand to his lips, kissing the inside of her palm softly.
