There was a sudden change to everything however. The world looked the same, but felt much different for a moment. Something was happening, and it was happening at this very moment. His eyes were drawn to what he recognized as a mall. "El, change of plans. Tell the driver to drop us off at the mall, and to drop off our luggage at the hotel."
El looked over at Sargon, still unseen to the rest of the world, with a look of disdain. "You've gotta be kidding me..." She whispered under her breath, out of earshot of the driver. "We can't just go to the hotel first?"
He shook his head slowly. "Something is happening right now. We do not have time to waste. Now tell the driver."
Sighing and rubbing her temples, El hesitantly looked to the driver in front of her. "Uhh, change of plans. Could you please drop me off at the mall first, and take my bags to the hotel? I'll pay you the extra to cover the cost." She muttered this out in the best Japanese she could manage at the moment. The driver agreed and followed her orders.
El stepped out of the taxi, only taking with her the few things she thought she might need, and the driver headed off quickly towards the hotel. "You better have been right about this 'your highness'." She said with a bite to her tone.
There was no emotion on Sargon's face as he inspected the area. "I am right young lady. Now look sharp, stay focused, and be ready for a fight." The two of them made their way into the mall without another word. Sargon remained invisible to most of the world around them, and El acted as casually as she could while staying alert.
