Yue wasn't sure why all of Zinnia's clothes were so cute and so... impractical. She really did not get along with dresses. You couldn't move around well in them so if someone tried to attack you you wouldn't be able to really run away. Though if anyone tried to attack her she was helpless anyways since she still didn't know any magic. How was she even a witch? Wasn't the magic hereditary? What did that mean about her parents then, the parents that never came to look for her and save her from her past life? "It's so funny how much you hate nice clothing." Rain transformed her outfit several times from a kimono to a hanbeok to a ballroom dress to a sailor suit. "I don't have to waste good money on clothes." Yue frowned at Rain's flightiness - why couldn't she get a demon with a fluffy tail like Blithe?
The market was scary just like last time largely because Yue still remembered being kidnapped. The herb shop didn't really have much of interest for her. "Herbal magic? Hey, who needs that when I can teach you something more exciting." Rain snickered, wiggling her fingers. "Something more... powerful." Yue wanted to know powerful things, the she would never have to be hurt again. "Once we're in private, I'll teach you everything." Letting Zinnia get what she needed, it was now time for them to get some clothes. There was a square full of clothing shops and Yue was delighted by all the colors and shapes and intricate designs, all of which were fancier than she could've ever wanted. "Master wants more simple clothes because she has bad tastes." Rain spoke for Yue who blushed slightly. "Zin-Zin, can I teach her the joy of beautiful clothes?"
So then Rain dragged Yue around, making her try on frilly dresses and lacey skirts until finally they accumulated a nice catalogue of options. The only problem now, Yue thought, was what to do with all of the clothes hanging around. "Not a problem!" Rain snapped her fingers and then they disappeared. "They're safe back in our room! Isn't that grand?" Her fang glistened and she rubbed her hands together. "Now's time for the exciting part! Let's get-" Yue was distracted by a mysterious looking woman sitting at a booth adorned by knicknacks and fancy things. There were some runes she couldn't read as well. "It's a fortune teller, someone who specializes in Dinivation." Rain paused, a thoughtful crease in her forehead. "Let's save it for not full moon, okay?"
The pink wand shop looked just like it did yesterday and as Yue entered Claris looked up from her desk, homework scattered about the place. It seemed today would be a slow day for the wand shop. "Oh, it's you." She made a disgusted face. "And a demon?" The apprentice's expression brightened a bit, turning into surprise. "That's odd. Even I hadn't managed to summon a demon yet." Claris's specialties was conjuring of course, and she wasn't much good for anything else. "Anyways, here's your wand. It's strongest for water and ice-based spells, so keep that in mind." It was pretty and Yue nodded, taking it. It felt as if a key unlocked the moment she touched it, as if her mana circuits were even more attuned to the world now.
