Kenji shifted awake, rolling onto his side and wincing as he sat up from the cement floor of the temple. He was dirty, having slept on the ground, but not terribly so after bathing in a river the night before. The boy rubbed the back of his neck with a sigh. If he didn't find a place to stay soon, he was sure his body would give out on him.
Glancing sideways at the sign of movement, Kenji froze, blinking. There was a young man sitting on the steps, but... he had a tail. Having come back to Tokyo, Kenji was not unfamiliar with the amount of non-human creatures that roamed the city, but this one intrigued him.
Curious as ever, Kenji shyly approached, clearing his throat softly to try and catch the man's attention and not startle him.
