|| City of the Dead|| Eurielle ||
This might be her last opportunity, and so Io really didn't want to waste it. They were here in London, historically a smog infested seedy big city, then ruined by the Light Bearer war, and was now a big city again, rebuild it even more splendor than it once had. Callisto looked excited the whole way to the hotel while Io was a mixture of anxious and wary. She was officially here on guard duty but in reality it was because Callisto was trying to save her or something. Still, someone like Io was already damned, there was no two ways about it. "You won't even let her try." Fina complained, and Io felt the gut punch in her chest. Fina was the one who should be the saddest because of her loss but she seemed almost entirely focused on worrying about Io, who really did not like being worried about.
"I kind of want to see the Museum of Light." A museum build recently to house historical memoirs of the Light Bearer War. Dane nodded, his eyes lighting up a little. "Maybe I can try more Light Bearer cards!" The innocent exclaimed, bouncing with something between energy and exhaustion after the flight. "I hope I can find a Mizuki for my set." Io glanced at him, like a parent watching over their child. "Maybe you can even find a rare platinum laminated Ronan the Black Reaper." Ronan was Dane's favorite because according tot he history books he was everything a man was supposed to be. Strong, sensitive, protective and tough, he was a hero just as much as the rest despite his painful beginnings. Dane beamed at the thought. "That would be great! I want to be more like Ronan!"
Shy underachiever Dane would never be strong and cool like Ronan. But Io didn't need him to be like that, nor did she want him to be like that. As long as he remained innocent and weak, Io was happy. Because she was a piece of shit, because it meant he would always need her. At least someone would need her. A glance at Jace - the one who was replacing her spot as Callisto's favorite person in life. Whatever someone said, Callisto probably didn't really need Io anymore. And Minnie would have been so much better off if only Io hadn't come into her life. "A boat tour of Thames sounds fun too." Io decided to consider one of Callisto's suggestions as well.
Today was their free day to do whatever they wanted but they didn't have time to dally. After some discussion it was clear that they were having trouble deciding exactly what they wanted to do. It wasn't until Black Jack put his foot down for the and made the decision. "We're going to the Holmes Memorium." He declared officially, clearly not biased because he most definitely didn't have a shelf full of Holmes books back home. "After that we can check out the Museum of Light, then visit the concert site, and finally, a late night tour of the River Thames." He looked around, checking for any objections. Dane seemed content and Io didn't particularly care one way or another.
