Much like most of the other students of Mooreville High School, a certain raven-haired male was not impressed by the idea of being roomed with one of the known bullies in the school. Out of everyone who was in the home economics class, they'd be paired with a student who was in the GSA. This was done simply by pulling a number, it was all kept anonymous until the day they'd set up their rooms in the small apartments they'd be living in. As granted by the city, they were testing a new feature. One that encouraged open-minds, and to stop bullying. All the apartments were apart of a small complex, they had called the "Mooreville High Building" each pair had their own room, cooking space, and other things of the such. It was to teach them how to live together, and on their own and teach them the values of living expenses and other things. The GSA decided to add in their twist, to the project to as said before to encourage equality amongst the school. Bullying had been notably high in the past years, and they planned to change that.
Now, back to the story.
August wasn't fond of this idea. Not at all, the idea of being roomed with someone he didn't know made his anxiety skyrocket. He wasn't sure who'd be walking in that door after him, so he'd sit on the small motorcycle he had inherited from his brother. Not the safest ride for him, his mother constantly spoke about, but he liked it. It was his father's before his brothers, and with Miguel getting his own care he had no need for it. Anything that August could keep his father's memory alive in he would definitely do. He would straighten the jacket up, before getting off the bike and putting it on it's stand in the small garage. He was on the third floor, so that was nice. With there being five floors, he was the perfect middle. So that was nice. He would his his bags around his arms. Some of it holding his filming equipment for his channel. He'd see the elevator open and he'd press the fifth floor. Wow, fancy ass place. This must be what they spent the Drama Department's budget on this year., the boy thought as he looked around. The apartment building was rather modern in terms of design. Must have had some help from big donors. Things like the rich kids at the school who's parents believed it'd do their children good. With the elevator opening, he'd feel his phone buzz. Digging it out of his pocket.

umm idk i havent made it 2 the room, brb gotta unlock this bitch
The male typed back quickly, before he took out the keys they were given. Inserting it, he'd turn the lock and hear that unlocking click that often satisfied him for some reason. He'd open the door before speaking, "Hello?", no answer coming out he'd walk in and scope out everything. Deciding on the room with the armchair in it he'd begin to set his stuff up. Damn these places were nice, slightly better than the home that August lived in. But he wasn't going to focus on that. His brothers were gonna help bring in some of his actual things like his own television (his mother had changed jobs to something better paying after his father died and they moved to mooreville, able to buy him one) and his true love of a gaming system, his PlayStation. But that'd wait, for now he awaited his new "roommate" whoever it may be.
