There was something wrong, Callisto could feel it in her heart. She rose from the table, the song half finished. "Io, what are they doing to you?" Callisto murmured, wishing she could access their private network, but the room was cut off from all communications systems, a signal blocking her from contacting anyone outside of the four walls of the prison. It was a while before anyone came and when they did, it was just to unchain her from the bed. "Where's Io?" Callisto tried to question them, but she was largely ignored. "Wait, don't just go without answering!" She yelled as the door slammed shut. There were chafing marks around her ankle from the chain, but otherwise, she was fine, still whole. Would Io still recognize her if she returned? Would her sister even be there? Would Fina be the one to remain?

"It's like Lita all over again," she sunk to her knees, waiting. She passed the time writing, reading, and charging. The small window to the outside world remained dark for the most part, Guantanamo Bay didn't get a lot of light this time of the year and the snow storms certainly didn't help. At last, the door opened again, Callisto rose eagerly, but it wasn't her sister who came. Viren appeared, the two androids flanking either side of him. "What did you do to Io? Where is she?" Cali asked, her hands balling into fists. "Resting," Viren replied, unperturbed. He made a gesture with his hand, the two androids grabbing Callisto on either side. "Let me go!" She yelped as she was lifted, her legs dragging behind her. "We're going to try again," his voice was soft, docile despite Callisto's rising fear.

What if he succeeded this time? What if he erased her? Just like the first time, she was strapped down. Callisto whimpered when he plugged the HDMI port in, squeezing her eyes shut. "It won't hurt," Viren assured her, just like last time. Code began to flood her optical sensors, she watched as the big red X popped up before Viren so much as tried to rearrange her numbers. Like this, he couldn't even perform the full mind transfer, not if her code was unwilling to switch. "Please, just let us go home." Callisto said softly as Viren failed again and again, unable to do much. "We'll just have to do this another way," a file popped up in the corner of her eye, something was downloading. "What are you doing?" Callisto jerked, wondering if he was installing a virus into her system.

"I'm integrating new code into your old one. This will allow Firis and I to exert some semblance of control over you. I've been made aware of some of the claims you're making," Callisto was only saying what she believed. She did not think androids could successfully assemble their own utopia. "Why?" The idol unit croaked, "I can't fight, I can't even hold a knife without dislocating something." Viren's brow furrowed, "to boost moral." He replied, "every army needs a cheerleader."
