Diamond's smirk vanished as the crystal formed around him, and as he tried to roll out of it, he only found himself smacking headfirst into the crystal. Rubbing his head, he looked around, with a start, headed towards Lucy, who was pounding on the cyrstal around her. Turning, then, he heard the pokemon speak, and then watched as his Charizard was crushed, and then imploded upon while slamming his fist on the crystal, screams muffled by the substance as tears built up, beginning to stream down his cheeks.

He gasped at his pokemon as it fell, limp, to the ground. It wasn't just unconscious from fainting, it was damn near dead. The flame on its tail glowed dimly. "CHARIZARD!!!!" he screamed out, clear from behind the Crystal. Luckily, he was able to return the Charizard to its pokeball before anything else happened. Holding the now occupied Pokeball close for a second, he put it away on his belt before looking back to Melaine.

"Y-you.... How could you do that? This wasn't your fight!" Diamond yelled, rage filling him.

"Diamond, calm down! She wants you to lose your temper!" Lucy scolded, her telepathy working through the crystals as well.

Diamond took a few deep breaths and calmed himself down, still glaring at the Pokemon that had made herself into the Crown Princess of Ruula. He figured, now that he was calming down, that he and Lucy would be safer from that crushing move that Melaine was able to do. After another moment, he spoke again, more level headed. "What... what do you want with us?"
