In total, Morrigan spent three days in the room. She screamed until she was hoarse. She paced until she got tired. She slept until she couldn't sleep any more. There was nothing to do but let her imagination run wild. Words filtered into the room, and she drew bizarre conclusions about how the world outside worked. She believed herself dead, and it didn't help that ghosts pestered her. This apparently was the afterlife that she accessed as a medium. No wonder ghosts seemed so bored!

On the third day, a ghost told her that she was about to be released, that she was still, indeed, very much alive. Her memories returned in stages, and she recalled the escape plan. Morrigan was anxious that soon she would see Klara again, and hopefully would be able to find a way to the gardens.
