xThe hair on the back of May's neck stood up and she froze with a spoonful of cereal halfway to her mouth as her spider-senses tickled the back of her neck. She whipped her head to the right just in time to see James materialize outside the kitchen window. He muttered out a rather weak "Hi" and his face was tinged red. May smiled softly as she set the spoon back in her bowl and walked over to the window opening it. She watched, rather amazed, as he appeared across the room near Adrian to grab an apple. "H..h..hey, I'm James. You're Adrian, and..... May, right?" May gave him one of her friendly grins, wanting James to feel as comfortable as possible. He was rather new and she could sense his unease. "They one and only" she giggled slightly, "You know, you're going to have to teach me how to do that teleport-thingy. You're getting quite good at it" She gave him a teasing wink before taking another bite of her cereal.

Her spider-senses tickled the hair on the back of her neck and she didn't even have to look up to know it was Jack. May looked up to see his typical smug look and she rolled her eyes slightly. "Trying to fight fate with positive thoughts princess? Haven't you learnt anything? This week will suck no matter how loud you think." She placed a head on her temple giving, pouting. "Hey-! That is totally not fair. Can a lady not get any privacy here? Tsk. Tsk" She made sure to hold eye contact with him, as she was never one to back down from a challenge. Jack flirted with her relentlessly and while it flustered her she tried her hardest to bite back.

"Careful jack, fuck around with a spider and you'll get bit, eh?" May turned to see Myles as he made his way into the kitchen. She grinned at his comment and turned back to Jack raising an eyebrow. "I assure you my bite is much worse than my bark". Jack just kept the smile on his face and gave her a small wave, "See you at the shit show" and she turned back to her cereal as he left the kitchen.

She finished rather quickly and got up tossing her bowl quickly into the dishwasher. May smiled at the rest of the boys in the kitchen as she made her way out the door to the training room, "Best of luck boys!".

xAdrian tossed his banana peel into the trash as he heard another voice in the kitchen right next to him. James. The boy was a teleporter, and that's about as much as he knew. "H..h..hey, I'm James. You're Adrian, and..... May, right?" Adrian gave him a small 3-finger wave and nodded in acknowledgment. "Adrian Reyes at your service. Most call me Blue" He said with a casual smile.

While the others chatted amongst themselves the Scarab spoke to him. 'Maybe a glass of water would best cure your mind Adrian' 'You're not my doctor Scarab' He thought. After a bit he groaned slightly and grabbed a small glass it filled it with water downing it in a couple of seconds. He found it was always best to follow the beetle's advice even went it felt like the Scarab was more of a parent than a friend. Adrian was only brought back out of his mind when he felt Jack brush against his shoulder. "Hey, handsome." Adrian's cheeks blushed a bright red and he shook his head slightly as he watched Jack leave the room. The boy was relentless with his flirting.

He returned Myles's nod as he turned to James, the only two left in the room. He gestured to the door, "Shall we? Can't keep the Hadden's waiting I guess." He said with a slight chuckle. They only had a couple minutes before training began
