"What are you doing by yourself class prez?"
"I did not come here to make friends, so I do not have the type of relationship required for such a thing."
βWeβre all here for one reason or another.β"I'm a junior too so let's get along. We'll be seeing plenty of each other."
"Who do you think you are?!"
βShe's the class prez of course."βI suggest you do as she says."
βYou're making me look bad, Prez."
"Then prove me right about you and let him go."
"You do it too...""Not exactly the same, I admit...but I think...
βFor a smart cookie, you're really dense. Let's go visit him on the weekend and see a movie for crying out loud. Stop pretending and living under a rock.β
"It will look bad on me if you fall over, don't feel special."
"I'm not special, right?"
"I'm not special, right?"
...
They werenβt just mere dreams though. They were memories that made him restless. His head was exploding full of these memories that didnβt belong. The dorky girl with short violet hair and eyes of gold passed through his mind over and over. This isnβt fun anymore. He groaned as he sat up on the edge of his bed and combed his fingers through his messy bed hair. He wasn't dumb enough to think that the day would go smoothly after he told off the blonde senior (Aeon) whom she seemed to hold a lot of respect for. I couldn't shut my mouth though. I didn't escort the girls out of a building just for people to go all the way back. I was feeling sick as a result. Who in their right mind would? He looked over at his phone sitting on the bedside table. Yuuki had his number but he didn't have hers. She refused to give it and the fire alarm didn't leave room to push for it more. He raised his wrist where Kaori wrote her number that still hadn't faded. The number was already entered into his phone and if he was going out with Yuuki, keeping another girl's number there wasn't going to be a good first impression with the parents. Rocco went over to the bathroom, brushed his teeth and washed the ink off his wrist thoroughly. He stared at the mirror for a good long 10 minutes wondering if that text or call from Yuuki was ever going to come. Maybe she'd change her mind and he couldn't blame her. He wasn't the type of guy you brought home to meet the parents. More fitting for that description would be the senior prick (Aeon). He washed his face to distract himself from useless thoughts. For now, he'd have to sit tight and be patient. If they really were going today, he needed to pack a bag for the trip and decide what to wear. He didn't care about clothes normally but a girl's parents would care.
More time passed and the clock ticked away. Rocco sat on the edge of his bed with the packed bag by his side. He bounced a leg up and down and looked around his room in case he had forgotten something. He sucked at waiting. The phone rang and he almost dropped it as he quickly picked up. It turned out to be someone else. "Murray, are you down for a mixer tonight? We just need one more guy. C'mon man." Rocco sighed. "Murray? You there?" Rocco hung up the call without a word, dropped the phone back on his bedside table and fell back on his bed. Why does she have to be so difficult? There was a long silence and he couldn't stand it. It wasn't like him to sit around and wait for a girl to contact him but there was no other way. He resorted to studying to keep busy, clearing his desk and dropping the school notebook he owned with nothing inside it. There was that nuisance of an assignment he had gotten yesterday about writing 100 Japanese/English phrases for tourists. His assignment partner (Kaito) was dead weight but Kei and Tsukiko were who he was choosing to work with. He wasn't going to be dead weight to them. "Basic greetings would be useful..."

He stopped writing after Good Night and laughed. "I wonder if her mother put the cot in her room. Way to go, Grumpy (Kei)."
