Once it appeared to be over, and the woman with the raven black wings took off in flight again, Neden turned back to the being that was clearly the kind voice she had heard before, once back in her village as just wind and a feeling, to the frozen lake as a soft and unclear whisper, to the call at the boat as she cried out for help, and then just now. She had heard what the being said in her mind, confirming that this is who called them. Neden silently stepped forward, finding new courage and curiosity filling her veins, taking a few more steps forward until she felt she was close enough. She took a deep breath and with as confident of a voice she could muster, she spoke to the being in question.
"E-excuse me, Sil'Eph Niir? If I may ask you a question if you wouldn't mind...There is something that I have wanted to know for a long time." she started as she slowly moved a few steps closer to the being, remembering to speak in the normal tongue, not caring if the others overheard her end of the conversation with the being.
"And I'd understand if you don't know, which...I wouldn't be surprised because I am a nobody from a small village in the frozen mountains...Which, I'm sure you know. Since, well...I guess I've always heard, or at least felt your voice my whole life. If that was you...A-anyway, my question...Is...Do you know who I am? Am I really a no one from a small village in the mountains that was just born too curious for my own good, or...Am I really not one of them? Not one of the people from there, and if I'm not...Then who? Who am I, and who was my mother and father, if you even know...I don't expect you to understand or know, but my life has always been nothing but unanswered questions and mysteries I've always wanted to know. So please, if you know anything at all, it would help fill that void that I feel..." she pleaded as tears slowly filled her eyes, if this being knew anything at all, it would help settle all anxiety and emptiness that this poor young woman ever had and hopefully, they'd be relieved.
