Raelynn hated how emotional she could be. She had left Rowan so that she could cry. She should be by his side, enjoying that last few moments she has with him. He had promised that they would both come back, but who knew how long that would be. She wiped her tears and finally put down the brush. The farmer had been brushing the horses hair this entire time. A soft giggle left her and she sniffed. Even when sad, she tends for her creatures. Rae finished putting everything away in the barn and walked out, wiping her tears. Raelynn didn't want it to look like she had just been crying for five minutes. She walked back to the house and slipped through the side door. Rowan was still in the kitchen and she could not hear the sounds of her brother or Arabelle. Rae wiped her eyes some more, hoping they weren't as red as she thought they would be. "They still aren't back?" Her concern was shifting from tomorrow to where they others were. It was getting dark and she hated when her brother was out past dark. The farmer girl turned to look out the screen door, trying to see if she could spot them. But also to hide her face. She didn't want Rowan to feel obligated to address her sadness.
