"A lot of strange things are afoot, wouldn't you agree?" The man's voice startled the woman as she watched the strange worm emit globs of mucus from its skin. The young Thrall sat motionless in its embrace, held tight by the strange creature and sedated by the tea.
The woman smiled coldly and turned to face the young man, keeping her prey behind her. "You think the events of today are strange? Yet, it is you who is the stranger here. Now, if you'll forgive me, I have tea that needs brewing." She turned to revisit the strange creature. Puddles of mucus surrounded the bottom of the chair and the table. "Why do you have such an interest in this girl?" She chuckled at the irony and shook her head, reaching for a cone of incense. She lit the cone and waved the smoke in Syra's face, "She won't wake up for a long time," She drew the needle from her pocket again and coated it with the mucus before trying to set it ablaze. When nothing happened she sneered and shook her head. The sun was beginning to set and she smiled, "Just wait until nightfall, the girl will be mine and you, creature, will be in the belly of the townspeople!"
