Once Lucian was back on his two feet, Markus gave him another ever so slight nod as he took note of the bag and what to do. For a moment he let Lucian break away for his bag, keeping up the act of hero versus villain for the cameras. A grin spread across his face, and with immense speed and agility he lunged forwards, and as he outstretched his right hand, a shadow lunged for Lucian's left leg, pulling him backwards as Markus gained the upper hand and ran for the bag, grabbing it with his left hand as he continued to use his right hand to maintain the shadow around his ankle.
"I'll consider the mask design if you can make one that I approve of...as well as a possible suit, but no guarantees. I'll set the shop for being closed tomorrow night, meet me there at ten o' clock, sharp. Backdoor will be opened. I'll feign a robbery happened in the morning and that I'll be dealing with it. Until then, Lucian-" he said as he then proceeded to surround Lucian in a shadow, and forced him through one of the windows, the impact being cushioned by the shadow field, as well as enveloping himself in a shadow himself and leaving the facility.
In what seemed like a few short moments the two were now on the roof of a faraway building, due to Markus using his ability with shadows, and moved from shadow to shadow until they were a good distance away from the crime scene. As the two men stood on the roof, Markus looked at Lucian with a serious look on his face, "Consider this the second time that I have saved your ass. And side note, your aftershave is a bit stuffy, personally." he said with a smirk and looked through the bag that he had taken, and took out the laptop and examined it for a few moments. "So, what exactly is on this laptop?" he asked as he looked from the device, then back to Lucian, then back to the laptop that he kept in his hands.
