Ross looked up toward the red head across from him, his glass still pressed to his lips. He could see feint hints a flushing upon her cheeks, but he wouldn't comment on it. Mentioning someone blushing only seems to make it worse. He pulled the champagne flute from his lips and held it in his lap. The tip of his thumb lightly tapped the brim as he spoke. "'m sorry if aye make ye uncomfortable." He laughed softly, diverting his gaze. "I can stop, if ye'd like."
He gave Petra a slight smile before finishing his sandwich in a comfortable silence. It seemed that the sunset rather quickly, dipping behind the horizon, allowing the stars to illuminate in the sky. The strings of lights wrapped around the boat had a gentle glow, mimicking the stars above and reflecting off the calm waters. He watched them with a content smile for a long moment until the change in song coming from the stereo below caught his attention.
Ross moved to his feet and carefully walked over to Petra, being sure not to rock the boat too much. He extended his right hand out toward Petra, his palm upward in a gentlemanly offer. "We ner got to finish our dance. I know yer still mad at meh about the d'Galla... But I'd like ta try 'n make it up to ya." He gave her a sweet smile as the soft sea breeze caused his short brunette hair to blow around freely. The jazz music that rose up from the hull played a slow and sweet tune that played out over the water.
