Just as he was about to reply, an announcement sounded. Loud, obnoxious, and annoying. He looked behind, noticing the speaker on the side of the observatory.
“Ah. . . I know where the gym is. We should definitely head there. I don’t think it’s wise to stay out here.”
He turned back towards the main building, testing his feet on the volatile ground.
“I hate this already. . .” he mumbled. He looked back. “The ground here is too soft. We’ll get soaked if we head this way. But, we need to get moving, anyway, so. . .”
He placed one foot ahead, then submerged both his feet. “I’m okay with the mud. . .”
