Trinity’s hand shot out quickly to her ambusher, grabbing their arm and ready to throw them on the ground until she saw the face it belonged to. “Theo, jesus!” She sighed out then put her hand on his throat to mime strangling him with a low growl. He knew better than to sneak up on her. Or should have at least. She let her hands drop by her sides and shook her head.
"So ummmm... is everything okay? I came to check on Andy and find you walking out looking all worried," Theo asked, rather casually falling in stride with her. She gave him a skeptical side glance.
“It’s pretty average to be worried in this camp.” She wasn't going all cards on the table, heart on the line today. The camp fire was a one off. Still, she didn't have to be so closed off. “You know Andy's going through stuff and nowhere in sight, I'm...recovering from a pulled muscle,” she slid her hand down her leg in gesture to her not so serious condition, followed by a smile and shrug. Average, like she said.
"Things have just been so intense since we have been here. I need to blow off some steam. Any chance you wanna train? I know long range isn't your style, but it could never hurt to learn how to handle a bow from the master." Theo winked to her, gesturing vaguely to the archery area. Trinity already found herself nodding. She wanted to find Andy, but that of someone who willingly avoided three waves of friends verse training - her heart was won.
Trinity loved the idea, igniting a certain flare in her. “Yeah, so your sister's gonna teach me then?” She bit her lip to contain her laughter but quickly pressed on. “I like Theo the bow master, but Theo the wolf prince?” She weighed it out with her hands, in favor of the latter. And as they headed to the archery, Trinity asked another question. “How big is your wolf form again? Like...” she hovered her hand around hip height and looked to him questioningly.
She hadn't seen him as one since the war and it was a power that intrigued her a lot more than she let on. People didn't ask how she could look someone in the eye and stab them so she didn't pry into Theo's wolf/man transformation. But they'd have to see how the day went and if she could get patting a wild animal off her bucket list. She smirked to herself at the thought before focusing back on the task ahead.
In the archery area, she felt like her surroundings were foreign. Trinity knew what was what of course but she hadn't spend time playing target practice. “I mean who has the time to reload and aim again?” she complained just to get it off her chest. She scooped up the closest set of bow and arrows. Handling a weapon already empowered her and shifted her mood to all business. Trinity loaded the arrow and drew the string back as she would normally then glanced to Theo for critique and correction.
