Zaphira's feet burned as she stepped with bare feet upon the sand. She kicked some of the sand up and looked around but found nothing but the nothingness is what worried her.

She had pieced together rumours and stories and tall tales or so she claimed but the information had been rather easy to follow. The worst part had been making her trip to where the witch lay but either someone beat her to it or the information was wrong. And considering how calm her ant had been on the trek to the location, she figured it wad the former.

"I wonder how Zambob is going to take this," Zaphira muttered as she set about to investigate.

Horik trekked on to the Pair O'Dice, thinking about the clone she had left in the care of the worm. The same clone the worm had coughed up once they had arrived to the current land. She had knowledge and a sense of who she was supposed to be but not much control.

Feet dragging, Horik found herself wanting to go back. She had read tales of magical or powerful beasts of whom very little is actually known. There were theories and accounts and when Horik had first laid her eyes on the worm, it was nothing like the legends she had read about. Nothing like Ialak or the Octopus.

The explorer frowned and stopped. She stood there for a good several minutes before with a sigh, continuing her way.
