Gareth began walking up the beach towards Tovonopolis. He had never had coffee before going to Wing City. Back where he was from they drank tea, and rarely hot chocolate.

Gareth supposed his past really didn't matter anymore. He didn't remember much of it, he couldn't remember the face of someone he knew was important or even her name, and he felt as if he honestly had lost his cause in the world. Still, he attempted to be cheery.

"So, um, you're from another planet. Do you travel around a lot?" Part of Gareth wanted to get off this godforsaken rock.
