The two Marines standing on either side of the Admiral both shrugged at eachother. But the Admiral kept her composure, even as she surveyed her own surroundings. She was fairly young for a woman of her station, but her eyes betrayed the years of experience she had.

"That's fine, she can come with us. I'll have someone from Intelligence to join us as well." Hanley added, as she turned to leave the bridge. "You mentioned you have information, I trust that in exchange for these repairs, and for the medical attention provided to your crew, you will provide me with whatever information you know."

She stopped almost immediately before exiting the bridge.

"For starters, what exactly happened here?"
