Naturally, he didn’t wait long before throwing an arm around her waist and drawing her snugly against him. She hadn’t expected anything else. Though the arm did have a slightly protective feel to it, which felt a little unnatural. Eve was far more used to be the thing girls needed protection from. Then the horse took off and all of her horrible feelings about plummeting to her death can rushing back. Her hands gripped Liam’s forearm that was locked around her, she used all her meagre strength, but she was certain he’d barely feel it – or at least he claim that he hadn’t.
After an eternity the horse touched down on the beach, and Eve let out a shaky breath. Liam got off first, before turning back to her and helping her down. Again looking like it took no effort. She placed a hand on his shoulder to steady herself on the sand, she was beginning to the appeal of carting around six and a half feet of pure muscle. And he even kept his mouth shut about the fact that his hands got a good grope as he helped her down.
It wasn’t until they were waking back up the beach that, he charming demeanour came back. "What the fuck to demigods do here anyway? I mean, is it all underworld versus Olympus versus ocean, or is there some purpose?"
Taken utterly aback, Eve snorted in laughter. An unattractive and actually genuine reaction. “God, you’re ever so charming.” She laughed once more before slipping back into her flirty act, punctuated with a sly smirk. Eve moved up close to him, close enough for the nice tits he’d been admiring early to push up against him. “I’m sure you’ll find something fun to do.” Her tone of voice suggested the things she wasn’t thinking of didn’t involve clothes, and only some involved a bed.
Then when the light laugh she strode up ahead of him, dropping the overly flirty act. The idea here was only to seem interested, she knew Liam’s type and all her power over him would end the moment he got what he wanted – to sleep with her. She turned back to him with a teasing grin. “I mean, there’s swimming, horse riding, nature hikes, making friendship bracelet,” She counted off the activities on her fingers before laughing. "You're going to have a great time here."
Drawing a serious look back on to her face, Eve looked out to the horizon behind Liam. She met his eyes again, swallowing once. “Being serious for a moment, you should really check on Trin. I mean, after what Theo said Wes did…” She raised a shoulder as she let the words trail off, hoping Liam’s muscled-out brain would draw all sorts of horrible conclusions. Too bad she had things to do, so she couldn't stick around to answer any questions he had about what exactly Wes did. “I’ll see you round.” She said before scurrying up the beach back to her cabin.
Though she didn’t hang at her cabin long, only picked up a few supplies before she headed out again. It didn’t take her long to get to Mason’s cabin, she used her shadow teleportation. Eve had seen him leave the beach earlier so she knew he'd be here. She knocked twice on his door. The items in her hand muffing the sound, a flask full of bourbon and a packet a cigarettes, exactly what a guy needed after today like today. Well, that and an uncomplicated, available blonde, which is something she could be.
Eve pulled a cigarette out of the packet and lit it up taking a long drag. She knew there was a strong chance of Mason slamming the door in her face once he knew who was there. But she’d give it a go, even if she had to talk through a door. “I could always poison her for you?” She offered, referring to her inherited ability, her poison could kill humans, she wasn’t so sure with demi-gods. “She’d get the sweats, and vomit real bad. If she doesn’t die, it’d at least incapacitate her for a week or two.”
